We are proud of our rapidly growing list of clients which includes legal professionals, folks working in the oil industry, professional athletes, journalists, real estate executives (!) and many more. We all have our reason for moving to Moscow, and we all need a place to call home while we are here.
Although we have found that our clients are incredibly thankful for our personalized service, we also understand the desire for privacy. So, we changed the names on most of these testimonials and ceased posting photos of flats that we found- although you can find a few retro photos from the earlier days of Expat Flat. Enjoy!
“He cut out all the hassle…”
“Andy did a great job finding me a neat, tidy flat with a good European style renovation not far from the city centre. He cut out all the hassle and knew exactly what I was looking for. I only had to visit two flats before I signed. Would recommend to anybody, 100%.”-Mark Jones, Connecticut, USA
Mark was looking for an apartment for rent, near his work at Paveletskaya. We discussed what he needed and were able to find somewhere he was happy with, at the right price, very quickly.
“Happy To Recommend Your Services”
“I really appreciate your help! I know I didn’t want to initially pay a commission, as if anyone does, but I realize compared to any other agent I would have been much less satisfied. I feel like we got lucky with a great landlady which can make a big difference in how satisfied we are in a place. I’d be happy to recommend your services to others.” -Ben Matheson, New York City
Ben wanted to find a place in Moscow, together with some colleagues. They had been in Russia for a while and were looking for somewhere comfortable, not too expensive, and not necessarily central. We found them a great place just outside the centre.
“I would not have know where to begin without your help”
“You and your business have my unconditional recommendations. I would not have known where to begin without your help.” -Lars Haraldsson, Oslo, Norway
Lars moved to Moscow in January 2012 for just four months. He wanted somewhere close to the metro, central, and with somewhere on hand to go running. Despite his short stay, we were able to find him a lovely apartment in the centre, just next to the metro station he needed for work and alongside a stretch of river where he can go running.
They Signed The Deal The Same Day
She got in touch with us about three weeks before moving, while she was trying to communicate with an unresponsive Russian realtor. He never got his act together so she decided to go ahead with us. She knew what she wanted: max 45,000 rubles ($1,500) a month; inside the ‘Garden Ring’ road; furnishing not too much of a priority. She’d be working centrally and wanted to be able to walk to work if necessary.
We found a number of possibilities in the days before she arrived, and showed her around four before plumping on a lovely place near Paveletskaya, just inside the brown metro line. They signed the deal the same day to make sure nobody else would get in before them.
Now they are very happy in their new place!
